BOOK REVIEW
Everything Trump Touches Dies
By: Rick Wilson
Review by Bynum Henson | August 27, 2018

The title of the book leads one to immediately think:   Another book written by a Hillary supporter.   Why don’t those losers stop crying?
But this is actually a book that should be read by everyone.   It has something in it for Republicans, for conservatives, for liberals, for Trump supporters, for Democrats, and for Trump impeachment hopefuls like myself.
The author, Rick Wilson, is a conservative Republican strategist.   He has a regular column with the Daily Beast, and appears regularly on national networks.
Rick Wilson saves his most eloquent writing for, none other, than Mike Pence.   Pence’s loyalty is described as “Esoteric Trumpism”. (pg. 32)
"missed the part in Article II, Section 1 of the Constitution about kissing the president’s ass 24/7, but apparently Pence found it.” (pg 33)
Mr. Wilson has no sympathy for us Democrats. As far as he is concerned, we caused this mess, because we ran a “terrible, horrible” “crap-tier” candidate. (pg. 70)   We should have avoided the gun debate, because “guns are wired into America’s DNA”. (pg 74)

The book narrates page after page of victims of the “Trump touch”.
Six of those pages are set aside for Rex Tillerson, and titled:   “Rex Tillerson’s Year in Hell” (pg. 149-154).
“If a man like Tillerson could be humiliated, his good name disparaged his reputation wrecked, and be booted out the door with a tweet, what could lesser mortals expect? (pg. 154)

Wilson saves his most eloquent writing for, none other, than Mike Pence.   Pence’s loyalty is described as “Esoteric Trumpism”. (pg. 32)
"missed the part in Article II, Section 1 of the Constitution about kissing the president’s ass 24/7, but apparently Pence found it.” (pg 33)

If you plan to give the book a try, remember it predates The Cohen plea deal, and the 8 count Manafort conviction.
